Auditorium/Worship Space
Exclusive use of the 240-seat auditorium, including unassisted use of the audio/visual system, piano and/or electric keyboard if required. Use of the foyer is also included, however this may be share with groups utilising the multi-purpose room. An excess cleaning fee will be charged if the utilised areas have not been returned to their original level of cleanliness at the completion of each booking.

Multipurpose Room
Exclusive use of the dividable 91sqm multi-purpose room and adjacent playground/garden area. Long term users may negotiate access to on-site storage if available. Use of the main foyer is also included, however this may be shared with groups utilising the auditorium. An excess cleaning fee will be charged if the utilised areas have not been returned to their original level of cleanliness at the completion of each booking.

Weddings
Exclusive use of the entire facility including the main auditorium, foyer, kitchen, multi-purpose room and playground/garden area. Detailed requirements should be discussed with the bookings manager.

Funerals
Use of the entire facility including the main auditorium, foyer, kitchen, multi-purpose room and playground/garden area as required. Detailed requirements should be discussed with the bookings manager.

The cost of hiring the facility will be incorporated in the Funeral Director fees.
Gungahlin Uniting Church will negotiate the relevant costs directly with the Funeral Director.

Notes:

  • All charges include GST.
  • Minimum hire period of 2 hours.
  • Hire charges include shared use of the main foyer, kitchen and toilet facilities.
  • Regular hirers will be issued with a building key and alarm code, for which a $50 refundable deposit will be charged.
  • Specialised set-up/pack-up requirements should be discussed with the bookings manager as required.
  • Hiring organisations are required to carry their own public liability insurance. Evidence of appropriate insurance coverage is to be provided to the church when applying for building hire.
