A great weekend away for all who are a part of Billabong (youth) at GUC.
We will be going to Wee Jasper Station shearer’s quarters. Walking, visiting the cave, cooking, bonfire, making, talking!

Working With Vulnerable People’s Licence Renewals
A lot of people are now finding their WWVP licence is up for renewal. This includes many in our church. You should receive a letter from the ACT Government reminding you of this, but there is a backlog and many people are finding they do not receive the letter. If you have not received your letter you will need to go to Access Canberra (in the new Winyu House Gungahlin) and enquire there. Take your current licence. As soon as you get your renewed licence please bring a photocopy of it to give to Alison Tweedie for our records.
Billabong Bon Fire Night!
A reminder that Billabong (youth) have their Bonfire, marshmallow, hot chocolate, pyrotechnic night on Friday 22nd July @ 7pm at the Church.

- This week we pray for Canberra Korean Congregation. Pray for the new small group happenings.
- This week we pray for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama- for those people who live with the hard realities of persistent poverty, hunger, malnutrition, homelessness and unemployment.

We will be sharing in the Baptism and Confirmation of Fuad Cher & Fereshteh Nurzod and the Confirmation of Ellie Abraham, Elina Akauola, Jenny Akauola & Rose-Mary Faulkner. We will also be gathering around the communion table and sharing in the meal of Jesus Christ. Of course everyone is welcome to come along and share in this time of Christian community together.
Following we have our BIG BBQ lunch with a variety of food and salads to which all are invited. There is always enough to go around.
