A service with Baptism/Confirmation & Communion.
This will be followed by a BIG BBQ lunch. We are looking for people who would be willing to bring along specific food for our lunch. If you are willing to bring food or help on the day please put your name on the list in the foyer near the Minister’s office door.
3 years of Mustard Seed Uniting Food Pantry!
This week marks three years since we began the Food Pantry!
Many people have found food!
Many have been encouraged!
Thank you to everyone who has supported this important work within our community and thankyou to those who currently open our pantry week by week.
Our Church at Prayer…
Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!
- We pray for those people who are preparing for Baptism and Confirmation in our church. We pray for our Minister Mark as he leads the conversations and for our Creative Worship Team as they think about the worship service on 17th July.
- This week we pray for St. Ninian’s. Give thanks for the congregation’s drive and enthusiasm for engagement with the community.
- This week we pray for Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay. For families and friends of those who were murdered or have disappeared.
Working With Vulnerable People’s Licence Renewals
A lot of people are now finding their WWVP licence is up for renewal. This includes many in our church. You should receive a letter from the ACT Government reminding you of this, but there is a backlog and many people are finding they do not receive the letter. If you have not received your letter you will need to go to Access Canberra (in the new Winyu House Gungahlin) and enquire there. Take your current licence. As soon as you get your renewed licence please bring a photocopy of it to give to Alison Tweedie for our records.
Creative Worship Team meet this week…
Our Creative Worship Team meet this Thursday at 7.30pm @ 12 Barunga Street Ngunnawal.
Anyone who is interested in discussing worship, the way we gather, our children’s groups, is welcome to come along.
For more information please speak with Margaret Reeson.
