People from a number of churches around Canberra share visits with people at the Alexander Maconochie Centre. The Food Pantry is in need of volunteer/s to help with the pick-up of bread from Brumby’s Bakery at Gungahlin on Monday nights at 7pm. In the past this has been done on a rotating monthly basis. As part of our church life we have a team of people who meet from time to time to discuss worship and plan for significant times in our church year. As Easter approaches our Creative Worship Team is meeting on Tuesday 16th February at 7.30pm in the quiet room at the church. Another wonderful day was had at our Food Pantry on Thursday. With a steady flow of customers throughout the morning we had a chance to have lovely conversations and catch-ups with many. We welcomed a new evening volunteer for her first shift this week, rejoiced with a few customers who had found new jobs and sat with a few who needed a listening ear.
