This Sunday, 9.30am, we gather for worship to be a people of thankfulness, faithfulness and community. Before morning tea worship will be led by Lori Van Dore while I have breakfast with the Billabong (youth) Group! Following morning tea we will sing and pray and begin our three weeks of pondering the passage of Mary and Martha (Luke 10: 38-42.) as part of our preparation for Advent. I hope these times will be both a moment for reflection as well as for devotion and prayer.
Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!
Every few years National Church Life Survey takes places amongst many churches/Christian communities around Australia. NCLS gathers people’s views on the church, faith and wider community.
Questionnaires will be handed out at the end of Sunday’s worship and they are available in English, Korean, Chinese and Arabic (still to come). There are also questionnaires for children aged from 8-14.
You can fill in your NCLS survey anytime over the next two weeks. Please place completed questionnaires in the pink box near the Minister’s door by Sunday 13th November!
We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.
We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
We worship at the Gungahlin Uniting Church & Community Centre.
