From Sunday the sheets for volunteering in our congregation and nominating people for Church Council are available.
Firstly, the volunteer sheets allow everyone to consider how you would like to be involved in the life of the congregation. Pretty much every job in our congregation is listed, from leading worship, preparing morning tea, running a small group, Bible reading etc etc etc. Please take one and read through it to consider how you can use your gifts to support your church.
Saturday 12th November at Kippax Uniting Church Cnr Hardwick Cres & Luke St, Holt ACT.
Full workshop 9.15am for 9.30am – 3.30pm
Refresher Workshop: 9.15 for 9.30am until 1pm
Cost: $25 pp. (Refresher only $20)
Light refreshments provided for morning tea. Please bring your own lunch.
Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!
Over the coming weeks Peta-Gai and I will be away on holidays from 10th September – 11th October.
Gungahlin Uniting is fortunate to have many gifted leaders and worship during this time will be an opportunity to hear the reflections and faith of others. I will be mindful of you as you gather and as you live out our Christian faith together. If you have any administrative questions in this time please speak with Alison Tweedie. The best day to talk with Alison in the office is Wednesday. If you have any pastoral needs there are people in the congregation for support and conversation; Heather Lamb & Margaret Reeson are available also.
Peace to you all in this time.
We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.
We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
We worship at the Gungahlin Uniting Church & Community Centre.
