In August this year Rev. Steve Coster and Rev. Margaret Middleton conducted a consultation both on the life and witness of the congregation and the vitality of Rev. Mark Faulkner’s call to Gungahlin. Their reports are available in the foyer if you don’t already have them. Church Council will have a special meeting this Thursday to discuss the reports. The congregation is then invited to an Open Church Council Meeting at 7.45pm on Thursday 24th September to discuss the reports. If you have any questions or comments please speak with Chris Dodd (Chairperson).

This Sunday – 9 August
Worship this Sunday morning – 9.30am!
This Sunday we gather for worship at 9.30am. and celebrate the Baptism of Sia Kwon, daughter of Yoo-Mi and Ken. We will also celebrate communion; the sharing of the bread and wine. All are welcome to receive. Following worship we share in morning tea and our BBQ lunch. A great opportunity to gather and celebrate community, life and God’s love.
Sanitary items should be a right NOT a privilege
Share the Dignity was established earlier this year in response to the urgent needs of homeless Australian women.
While for most women, our monthly period is just a slight inconvenience, for homeless women this time of the month can be a traumatic & shameful exercise – having to clean themselves in public toilets & use paper towels or rags to create makeshift sanitary pads.
