Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church
Gungahlin Uniting Church is a Christian Community for all people. All people irrespective of age, nationality, theology, tradition or way of life are welcome as we seek to nurture faith and be about the way of Christ. Each week we usually have morning tea in the middle of worship followed by Oasis for primary aged children and Billabong for our youth. In the main worship space after morning tea there are readings and a message and a time of prayer for others. This is the way we usually gather over any month…
- 1st. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meet as a group in the first half of worship. - 2nd. Sunday of the month
Worship all together with communion followed by morning tea and BBQ lunch. - 3rd. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meet as a group in the second half in the quiet room. - 4th. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meets with their mentors.

Mark and Lynne’s Wedding Thank You
We had a wonderful day and cannot thank you enough for your generosity, kindness and for being with us on the day. Our interstate friends mentioned how friendly everyone was and loved the afternoon tea. We feel blessed to be part of the GUC community. God bless. Lynne and Mark (from Port Douglas)

Working Bee
There will be a Working Bee at the church for any members of the congregation who would like to give help to do some of the tasks that the cleaners do not have time to do – like walls or windows. There will also be a few tasks in the gardens. We will start at 9.30am and have morning tea together. Hope to see as many of you who are able to help. Thanks, Pam Thompson

Volunteer to help you church in 2014
Every year around this time we invite everyone to think abut how they would like to be involved in Gungahlin Uniting Church. Now is the time to think about how you would like to participate and support your church in 2014. To do this, simply grab one of the “Volunteer to help your church in 2014” sheets and fill it in. They can be returned in the box in the foyer. You will see when you look through that there are endless jobs, tasks, roles, ways, that you can help and be involved. If you have any questions please speak with Heather Lamb or Matt Grudnoff.
In addition, on the back page, you are asked to thoughtfully consider who you would like to be on our Church Council in 2014. Please read all the information before you make your nomination on the form provided. Extra forms for nominations are available in the foyer. Again if you would like to talk to someone about Church Council in 2014 please contact Matt Grudnoff.
