For our GUC community
• We pray for the Gungahlin Community Carols and BBQ next Sunday evening.
• We pray for our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services.
• We pray for Noelene Jeffrey who has had an operation this week for a pace maker.
• We pray for families and friends who find Christmas a difficult time.
• We pray for each other.
For Presbytery and the Wider Church:
• the way ahead in seeking a new ministry agent, after recent prolonged negotiations have come to nothing
• members of the congregation who lead worship each week without a ministry agent and other church office-bearers
• the Target/UnitingCare giving tree for the Eden/Merimbula area coordinated by the chairperson of the St George’s Church Council
• the ongoing outreach to the community, especially through the Target/UnitingCare giving tree, the Garden of Eden at the Uniting Church and its monthly markets
For our World: Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo
• Peace, unity, and political and economic stability throughout the region.
• Unemployed young people.
• The many people in these countries who live in desperate poverty, and efforts to create better living conditions.
• Health care workers who provide medical help and education to those living with HIV and AIDS.
• Children who are trafficked for cheap labour or otherwise exploited.
