Over the past year we have been thankful for the work of Riyadh who has been our gardener and kept our church grounds looking so tidy. Riyadh also helped in the food garden and constructed our food garden shed. Riyadh has decided to conclude his work with us, but we will still see him on Sunday’s for worship.
Over the past weeks the Church Council has discussed this matter and are pleased to announce that Fuad Cher will begin as our new gardener. Fuad will work Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-2, which will include helping unpack the pallets when the truck arrives each Wednesday from Sydney with our Food Bank order. The relationship with the Salvation Army next door will continue so that in exchange for using their ride on mower and equipment Fuad will also mow their lawns as needed.
Let us be thankful for the work that Riyadh has done and now for our new gardener Fuad.
Remember that to support this work, you are invited to contribute to our Gardener’s Support Fund. It is from this fund that we employ our gardener. A flyer is enclosed with this week’s bulletin.
